1. Ambience and Atmosphere:

- The sound of rain and the dim lighting create an immersive atmosphere and complement the game's tone well.

- I appreciate the absence of jump scares. This allows the game to build tension more subtly and lets the player focus on exploration and atmosphere rather than anticipating sudden shocks.

2. Sound Design:

- The door-opening SFX and swipping SFX when picking things up are a nice touch, but adding SFX for footsteps could further enhance the sense of presence. Footsteps would provide auditory feedback, helping the player feel more connected to the environment.

3. Exploration and Pacing:

- The pacing feels balanced, and the exploration aspect is engaging. However, it was a bit challenging to keep track of the rooms I had visited. Sure, the doors were open for the rooms I visited but they all look similar. Consider adding a simple map or markers to help players navigate.

4. Gameplay Actions:

- The crowbar mechanic for opening barricaded doors is satisfying and intuitive.

- Collecting items using the crosshair rather than the cursor took some time to figure out. A short tutorial or on-screen instruction could clarify this.

- The prompts for controls disappear too quickly. Adding a collapsible menu or a way to revisit instructions would improve accessibility.

- The number pad for the safe remains visible even after stepping away from the safe, which obstructed my view. It would be helpful if it disappeared when not in use.

- Unfortunately, I couldn’t progress upstairs because of the boulders blocking the path.

5. Visuals:

- The 3D models are impressive and seem custom-made. Great work on the details and polish!

6. Overall:

- 19 Blaine Avenue is an atmospheric and enjoyable game. While some mechanics and usability aspects could be improved, it’s a solid effort that showcases creativity and technical skill.
